PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

As part of my career development I was awarded a mentoring commission through Impact Art, a consultancy  for Art in the Public Realm. I worked with a partnership of artists who were commissioned by Oxford Infracare Lift to design 2 sculptures for a newly built East Oxford Health Centre. I was involved in consulting and engaging with the local community through workshops. I developed a proposal for an installation to create a link between the community workshops and the more permanent artwork. The Banner Piece was completed and installed in  November 2007 to mark the official opening of East Oxford Health Centre.
